Things You'll Need:
- Comb
- Shears
- Razor
- Clips
- Blowdryer
- Styling Wax
-
Step 1
Work on clean wet hair and start by analyzing the length of the perimeter. In the back with the client's chin to her chest, determine where the hairline starts.
-
Step 2
Section the back of the hair from ear to ear, across the top of the head. Comb the hair cleanly and smooth it flat against her head.
-
Step 3
Cut along the natural hairline along the back. This will be your guide for the rest of the cut.
-
Step 4
Have the client lift her chin to a natural position and turn her head to the left looking over her left shoulder. Comb the hair straight down over her ear and determine the guide line from ear to jaw line.
-
Step 5
Cut a clean straight line following the natural jaw line.
-
Step 6
Repeat on the other side.
-
Step 7
At this point you should have a basic shape of a graduated bob. Short in back and longer in front with the longest part framing the face.
-
Step 8
Now, start the layers. With her chin to her chest again, take a one-inch section in the center of the back and cut at a 45 degree angle. Continue up the back of the head and follow the head’s natural shape.
-
Step 9
Continue to the left until you reach the back of the left ear and then to the right until you reach the right ear. At this point you should have even graduated layers.
-
Step 10
Now you have to connect the dots and make the front connect to the back without losing your length. Take the shorter piece from the top of the head and section down the middle part. You should have a line from short to long with the longest part being the front (your guide from the beginning). Cut the corner between the back and the front without cutting your original guide.
-
Step 11
Continue sectioning across the top of the head and cutting the corner to connect the back to the front. By the time you get to the temples you should not be cutting much.
-
Step 12
Top blend the sides, section vertically from the bottom of your chin length guide to the top. There should only be a slight corner at this point. You should now have a perfect graduated bob.
-
Step 13
To add a little more edge and really make it a “Beckham Bob,” use a razor or texturizing shears and soften all the edges without ruining your pre-cut lines.
-
Step 14
Gently blow dry the hair, and finish with a styling wax, to really showoff the layers.

on 10/3/2007 Victoria Beckham's upturned nose and surgery enhanced face make her look like the victim of some bizarre and horrible social nightmare, one in which women have their perfectly natural faces slit open and modified by a doctor with more love money than social consciousness.

on 9/17/2007 I have this cut - my stylist used a razor in the back to make a graduated bob and left the front with long layers that frame my face. It was actually an accident - didn't realize Victoria Beckham had it - I wanted a short haircut that would grow out without making me have a mullet. If you want a nice short cut that won't look ridiculous in the in-between stages this is it!

I'm so glad it was easy to follow! I think it's a "fierce" haircut :)
