Shutterfly is a free, online image-hosting service that allows you to take ordinary photographs and turn them into creative and personalized gifts. Rather than give the same store-bought present, make a calendar that will remind the recipient of you with every flip of the page. It's quick and simple, too.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Use your email and password to access your Shutterfly account.

  2. Step 2

Click "Calendars" in the "Project ideas" section of "My projects."

  3. Step 3

Decide whether to create a "Classic Calendar" or a "Collage Calendar." A classic calendar allows you to upload one photo per page while a collage calendar allows you to upload multiple photos per page. You may customize the pages of either calendar option.

  4. Step 4

Pick the month on which you would like your calendar to begin. When using Shutterfly, you don't have to begin your calendar with "January." Decide how many pages your calendar will have by selecting its duration, either 12 months or 18 months.

  5. Step 5

Upload the pictures you want to use, then click and drag your selected photo to each calendar page.

  6. Step 6

Edit and preview the calendar when all the pages have been filled. Once you are satisfied with the results, click "Save" and "Order."

Tips & Warnings
  • Shutterfly allows you to display both horizontal and vertical photographs. The "Layouts" tab has several options that enable you to customize each page of your calendar individually.
  • You may save the project at any point during the creation process, allowing you to complete it at another time.
