How to Make a Nemo Halloween Costume
Nemo has become one of Disney's most beloved animal characters, and your little one will find dressing up as this little fish a great change from getting into the run-of-the-mill costumes that fill the store aisles during Halloween.

1
Find a stuffed animal Nemo at any Disney store or a clown fish at your local Wal-Mart. Make sure it is large enough to cover your child's head, with enough extra to retain the fish shape. Cut a head-sized hole in the bottom of the fish with scissors or a seam ripper. If the filling is something such as Styrofoam beads, remove all of it and replace it with polyester fiber, found at any discount store or sewing store. If the filling is polyester fiber, try on the hat and take out enough to keep the shape without the hat being too tight.

2
Take a stretchy ski cap and place it inside of the stuffed animal with the bottom of the hat at the edge of the toy opening. Sew securely into place. An orange cap would be best in order to not show when wearing the Nemo hat. If orange is not available, be sure to fold the edges of the stuffed animal inside and secure by sewing or using safety pins.

Purchase an orange sweat suit to finish off this look. Apply black and white tape just like a clown fish.

Tips & Warnings
Use orange thread when sewing to avoid showing on the finished product.
The filling material in stuffed animals can be small and messy. Open the toy over a garbage can.
