Bounce eye is a marbles game for kids ages 6 to 10. It is believed to have been created in Australia by early settlers in the 1700s. The object of this game is to knock as many marbles out of the circle as you can. Follow these steps to play.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Marbles
  • 3 or players
  • Flat area
  • Sidewalk chalk
  1. Step 1

Draw a circle with sidewalk chalk on a smooth sidewalk or driveway. Make it about a foot in diameter.

  2. Step 2

Allocate an equal number of marbles per player. If you have more players, give them 2 marbles each and have them put 1 of the marbles into the circle. If you have fewer players, you can distribute 3 marbles per player and have each player put 2 marbles inside the circle.

  3. Step 3

Stand just outside the circle and hold 1 marble out so that it is at eye level when it is your turn. Drop the marble into the circle.

  4. Step 4

Collect any marbles that you knock out of the circle, plus the marble that you dropped.

  5. Step 5

Collect nothing if you fail to knock any marbles out of the circle. You must also leave the marble that you dropped where it landed inside the circle.

  6. Step 6

Take turns dropping marbles into the circle and trying to knock the marbles out until there are no marbles left inside the circle.

  7. Step 7

Whoever has the most marbles at game's end is the winner.
