1. Pick a date to throw your party. Eighteen hole parties are best held starting in the afternoon so that people have enough time to visit each destination. Make sure that your college doesn't have any major events scheduled that day (like a bowl game) that would interfere.
2. Gather eighteen of your closest friends. This is the trickiest part, as many people love the thought of the idea, but have little conviction when it comes to following through. Select people who are fun, responsible, and who won't mind slightly inebriated guests traipsing through their apartment or dorm room. Also, try and cluster the people as close as possible; you don't want one host to be a half-mile from everyone else.
3. Decide who will be serving what for your eighteen hole party. This is where creativity comes into play. You can set a theme, like a luau, or simply make it pot luck, where every host comes up with their own drink and food ideas. The trick is to make a master list and be sure that no one is repeating a similar dish or drink.
4. Send an e-vite to all of your friends. With such a massive list of hosts, you're going to need a sizeable guest list, so be sure to invite at least fifty people. In the invite, include a map and brief description about what can be found in each room, as well as times certain "holes" will be open.
