1
Choose a night to hold your pub crawl. If you ask too many people when they are free, you will simply end up with a myriad of answers containing dates that most likely won't work for everyone. So, take the lead and select a night.

2
Select bars and pubs where you and your friends can relax and have a few beers. The key to a pub crawl is to select bars in one concentrated area. The best case scenario is that you pick bars that are within walking distance within one another. If that's not possible, arrange for transportation from buses or cabs.

Contact the pubs or bars to make sure they are open that night and that they can handle the size of your group. If it's a bachelor party, the group is small, but if your whole fraternity is going to go drink a few beers, they are going to need some warning. Plus, bars and pubs are sometimes closed for private parties.

Invite your friends to the pub crawl. Sending an email or an e-vite is definitely the way to go. Lay out the start time, and the address location and schedule of the evening in the invitation. That way if someone can't meet up right away, they can join you along the way.

Arrive early, order a beer, relax and wait for your group to arrive. Then at the appointed time, have the bar tender help you announce that you are going to the next spot. Throw them an extra few bucks for a tip, and they'll be happy to help you out.

Tips & Warnings
Consider requesting a private room for your group while attending the bar. This way your group can mix, mingle and get to know one another before moving onto the next spot.
Buy matching hats or t-shirts for your group so everyone will know who is part of the gang. This will also help when you are gathering your group to go to the next spot.
Have at least three pubs in your crawl and no more than eight. More than that, it's not a crawl but a festival. Spend about 60 to 90 minutesat each pub.
Always practice safe drinking practices. This includes no drinking and driving and limiting your consumption of alcohol to a safe level. Check your body weight with the amount you plan to consume before beginning the pub crawl. Know your limit and drink water in between each pub to keep hydrated.
