1
Make an easy-to-remove Halloween face paint by mixing together 1 tsp. of cornstarch, 1/2 tsp. cold cream and 1/2 tsp. water. Add small amounts of food coloring until you are satisfied with the color. This works good for a makeup base.

2
Create clown face paint by blending together 2 tbsp. shortening, 5 tsp. cornstarch, 1 tsp. flour and a small amount of a petroleum-based product. Separate this into small containers depending on the amount of colors that you want. Add food coloring to each one.

Formulate some fake blood for Halloween by mixing together Karo syrup and blue and red food coloring. Start out by putting the red food in the Karo syrup and then add blue until the color looks similar to real blood. To capture the transparency of blood mix in a little milk.

4
Light a cork on fire, blow it out and let it cool. Make your face look like it is covered in soot by rubbing the cork on it. This is perfect for a Halloween costume such as a chimney sweep.

5
Dust flour on your face. This makes you look like you have risen from the dead. If you apply a lot you can look like a ghost.

Snazaroo face paint will not result in a rash. GOOD face paint is FDA-compliant, easy to use, fairly inexpensive, and fine on the skin.
