1
Design two seats for the squirrel feeder by first cutting the smaller pine boards into four pieces that are each about one foot long or shorter. Use a handsaw to cut them.
-
2
Nail two of the boards together to make a "T" shape. Do the same with the other two boards.
-
-
3
Cut two additional boards to 6 inches in length and nail one underneath the seat to make another T. This will add support to the seats and make them stand upright unassisted. Do the same to the other seat.
-
4
Make an "X" shape with two boards that are 6 inches in length and nail them together in the center. Secure them to a floor base that is about 6 inches wide by 1 foot long. Add a table top that is about 6 inches squared.
-
5
Attach the chairs to the floor base with nails, a couple of inches away from the table of the squirrel feeder. Hammer two nails into the underside of the table centered in front of the chairs so that the pointed ends of the nails are sticking up through the table.
-
6
Secure dried corn-on-the-cob to the nails to make a tempting dinner for two. Put the squirrel feeder in your yard where it can be easily accessed by squirrels.
