This recipe couldn't be any easier. You can do it in the oven or crock pot. A co-worker shared it with me, and I've shared it with dozens of my customers at the meat counter where I work.
2 cans cream of broccoli
or celery soup (or 1 of
each.
Step1
Pre-heat oven to 200 degrees. Spread the cream soups over the roast, sprinkle the onion soup on top.
Step2
Cover and roast 4 hours at 200 degrees, or on low for 6 hours in crock pot. That's it! Told you it was easy! Everyone I told was skeptical, ("pot roast an EYE ROUND?), but all agreed it is delicious!
Step3
I serve this with mashed potatoes from the dairy case (Country Crock or Simply Potatoes) and frozen green beans. The soups make a nice, thick gravy.
