Depending on the size of the company, a warehouse courier may perform a variety of duties, ranging from running errands to processing and delivering mail to receiving and checking-in shipments. Learn about a warehouse courier's responsibilities, which may include inventory maintenance, heavy lifting of 50 lbs. or more and mail distribution. Couriers may be assigned to different departments and are often expected to perform general warehouse duties, such as cleanup and organization.

Develop your office skills and become familiar with Windows-based software programs and industry-standard inventory and tracking programs. Couriers may be in charge of ordering, sorting and delivering office supplies throughout the warehouse.
