Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Find an unhurried time to pray -
Jesus often prayed early in the morning before the sun came up.
Step2
Find a special but private place to pray-
Jesus told the disciples to go in their inner rooms to pray.
Step3
Take a Bible -
Pray is a two way conversation with God. It would be arrogant for us to think that the most important thing that can happen is for God to hear us, rather than for us to hear God.
Step4
Take a pen and paper -
Jot down the insights, principles, ect. that you learn during your time in the Word. Ask God to bring to mind those things that you need to pray about and write them down.
Step5
Confess all known sin-
The Bible warns that if we reguard sin in our hearts God will not hear our prayers.
Step6
Focus on your daily needs rather than what you might need if you live tomorrow-
Step8
Keep God's Glory and will at the center of your prayer
Step9
Conclude your prayer, but do not conclude your attitude of prayer -
Pray without ceasing
