Arrange the order of your files from the first at the top to the last at the bottom if they are out of order. When you are satisfied you alter the timing of each frame by selecting the frame and clicking the Frame Properties tab near the bottom of the application. Set this to whichever 100th of a second you want (e.g. 100 = 1 second, 50 = half a second).

  6. Step 6
    Create the GIF

    Create the GIF

You may check how your animation looks at any point by clicking the Play icon in the main window. When you're finished editing. Click File > Save as... and name your GIF.

  7. Step 7
    Done!

    Done!

Now you're done! Remember you can edit it at any time by opening the file with the application. Enjoy your GIF!

Tips & Warnings
  • Keep your files small, the resulting GIFs might be too slow if put online.
  • Keep your pictures the same width/length in Paint, this will ensure smooth animation.
  • Make sure the timing isn't too fast or too slow.
  • Don't make too many frames or your GIF size and speed will suffer!
  • Avoid making BMP files in to GIFs.
