Things You'll Need:
- Bottom sheet
- Top sheet
-
Step 1
Start with the bottom sheet; either flat or fitted. Put bottom sheet on with print facing away from the mattress. Usually there is no special need to know which end is for the head and which end is for the foot of the bed. (If flat sheet, fold end of sheet under the mattress first, then pull side of sheet (at corner) down and then under. This makes a square corner and it stays in place.)
-
Step 2
After bottom sheet is smooth and on the bed correctly, open the top sheet and lay on the bed to see how it fits. At this point you want to have the printed side on the bottom (not facing you). Determine how far up to the head of the bed you would like the top edge to come by folding it over about 4 inches.(Do you know which edge is the top? The one with the largest hem.) This is where the top edge of your blanket will be when you put it on. Now look at how the sheets are laying together.
-
Step 3
When you fold the top sheet back (as thou you were going to get into bed) the two printed sides are facing you and facing each other. Now lay sheet flat again and add blankets and/or comforters.
