Things You'll Need:
- 3 ounces Vodka
- 1 ounce Dry Vermouth
- 1/2 ounce Olive Brine
- Olives

Step 1
Fill Martini glass with ice cubes to chill the glass.

Step 2
Fill cocktail shaker with ice cubes.

Step 3
Pour Vodka, Dry Vermouth and Olive Brine over the ice.

Step 4
Shake and strain into Martini glass (first remove the ice cubes from the glass).

Step 5
Garish with Olives. Enjoy!!

on 12/24/2007 The original martini appealed to a genration with different tastes, thus the 1/3 vermouth ratio to vodka or gin. Today's taste has evolved to where "dry" is in, meaning vermouth is added in traces or hints. Several drops of any dry vermouth usually suffices for most tastes, only a drop or two is needed for a dry martini.
