Golfing in London is fairly popular and there are a great selection of golf courses, golfing schools and golf classes to choose from. If you are considering playing golf in London then you may want to follow some of the simple steps below in order to help you to enjoy your experience to the fullest.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Firstly you need to research where abouts you want to play golf. Once you have determined this, you can then make further arrangements.

  2. Step 2

Research the golf course that you want to play golf on and see if there are any restrictions, rules and regulations that need to be met and also inquire about the day that you want to play there. You may want to book your time on the golf course as early as possible in order to avoid it being booked out.

  3. Step 3

If you are travelling from outside of London, then you may want to find the directions to the golf course. This avoids you getting lost and from becoming over stressed before you get to the golf course.

  4. Step 4

Make sure that you have all of the equipment that you need, or at least find a place where you can hire the golfing equipment. Some golf clubs allow you to hire the equipment so you should make a few inquiries before you go in order to see if you can do this.

  5. Step 5

Another thing that you will need to check is whether the golf course needs you to be a member in order to play there or not. Some courses are strictly for members only, whilst others are open to everyone.

  6. Step 6

For the best experience possible, why not consider playing golf at more than one course in London? Some people prefer to take a golfing tour which allows them to experience golf at a number of different courses.

Tips & Warnings
  • You really will need to research golf courses in London as they are not as well known as golf courses in Ireland or Scotland for example.
