Guinness is an extremely popular drink, especially for the folks living in Ireland. This beer is very light and it is also lower in calories, so it is not hard to see why it is so popular. What is really important when it comes down to it is how to pour the perfect pint of Guinness. Try following some of the steps below in order to help you pour that perfect pint of Guinness.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Use an Irish pint glass rather than an English one. An English one has a bubble on it, but an Irish one allows you to have one fell swoop.

  2. Step 2

Take your Irish Pint glass and tilt it at a 45-degree angle. Pull the handle all the way back to enable as much air as possible to get into the pint of Guinness. By doing this it really helps to make the Guinness light in texture.

  3. Step 3

Pour about ¾ of the pint glass full of the Guinness. Have the cream at the top and then top the last quarter off.

  4. Step 4

Hold the Guinness in an upright position and either pull the leaver all the way forward or all the way back to finish the glass off.

  5. Step 5

When you have finished pouring the Guinness into the pint glass, carefully put the glass down onto the base. If the Guinness is too high, it will break the nitrogen bubbling that occurs to give the creamy appearance and the great taste of the Guinness.

  6. Step 6

Now you will have your perfect pint of Guinness. Enjoy your perfectly poured pint of Guinness to the fullest.
