Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/3 cup cooking oil
  • 2 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp chopped birds eye chilies
  • 200g sliced or minced chicken breast skinned
  • ½ - 1 tbsp Thai fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 cup holy basil leaves
  1. Step 1

    Heat wok over high heat but DO NOT add cooking oil until the wok is very hot. Add cooking oil then garlic and chilies, stir fry for a very short 15 seconds or less until fragrant.

  2. Step 2

    Quickly add the chicken and continue to stir fry for 1 to 2 minutes. Add fish sauce, soy sauce and oyster sauce and stir thoroughly until the chicken is done but not browned or dry.

  3. Step 3

    Add the holy basil and stir again until the leaves soak up the sauce (about 2 minutes.

  4. Step 4

    Transfer to serving dish. Garnish with carrot or fried holy basil leaves.
