How to Hike Cross Timbers Trail in Texas
Cross Timbers are two very dense belts of timber that stretch across the Oklahoma-Texas border. The trail winds along the south shore of Lake Texoma for about 14 miles, nine of which are covered in this hike. Unless you decide to use a car shuttle, plan on a Cross Timbers hike taking two or more days.
