1
Take a trip to your local beauty salon store to look at various models of hair crimpers. Ask the sales associate for some recommendations.
-
2
Purchase the hair crimper that works best for your hair. Take into account the various settings and if it is a ceramic hair crimper or not. Ceramic hair crimpers are hot items.
-
-
3
Plug your hair crimper in once you get home to test out your new purchase. Let the hair crimper warm up for just about five minutes to achieve maximum results.
-
4
Massage some leave-in conditioner into your hair so that the hair crimper doesn't damage your hair.
-
5
Pin all of your hair on top of your head using hair clips, except for the bottom layer. Then begin crimping your hair in sections.
-
6
Finish crimping your hair in sections. Once you complete the bottom layer, let down the next section of your hair. Continue to do a little at a time until your hair is completely crimped.

Tips & Warnings
If you don't want to damage your hair while using a hair crimper, you can achieve the same result with small braids. Braid your hair after a shower when your hair is wet. Sleep with your hair in many sectioned braids. When you wake up, untie all of the braids. Now you have naturally crimped hair.

If only every hair crimper came with a free satin mop cap, preferably an off-white of light-coloured one. Would of set off a little girl's freshly crimped hair nicely. Very cute, eh?! -
