1
Cut out 4 ear shapes a half-inch larger around than the finished ears to allow room for the stitch. Porky Pig's ears are small and triangle-shaped.
-
2
Stitch the ears together on the two longer sides of the ears, a half-inch from the edge. Leave open the bottom of the ear that you will sew onto the head.
-
-
3
Turn the ears inside out to hide the seams. Stitch the ears on top of the pink hat. Tuck the edges in along the way.
-
4
Cut a long thin strip of pink felt, about 2 by 9 inches, for the tail. Sew the long edges together and close at one end. Turn the tail inside out and stuff with 2 or 3 pipe cleaners. Sew the tail onto the behind of the pants.
-
5
Manipulate the shape of the tail once it is sewn on. The pig tail should be curly.
-
6
Glue a large, oval piece of darker pink felt onto the center front part of the stocking cap for a snout. Once it is in place, draw two black nostrils.
-
7
Cut two oval pieces of white felt for the eyes. The pieces should be flat on the bottom. Glue the pieces above the snout. Once the glue is dry, draw large and round pupils with the black fabric pen.
