Scientology is a religion founded in 1952 by science-fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard. The Church of Scientology is undeniably controversial; some critics refer to it as a cult. The teachings are described as "how to manage life" lessons and some people find them helpful.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Know that if you want to become a Scientologist, it is a costly process. The first step is a free personality test, but thereafter, there's a cost for your training. You must pay a fee for courses that are required.
Step2
Get prepared for indoctrination. After your personality test (which is designed to find your weak areas in life), you must watch a movie and listen to a lecture on Scientology. Most Scientology groups use at least four people in the process of signing you up. You must be interviewed after your personality test.
Step3
Have your wallet handy after your interview. You must sign up for a Communication Course and pay a fee. The first course is usually $50 to $100, but as you advance through your training to become a Scientologist, courses get more expensive. There are also lots of books and other training materials to purchase.
Step4
Prepare to spend a lot of time studying. Some courses require weeks and months of training. Classes may last until 11:00 p.m.
Step5
Be willing to manage your life by teachings such as the ARC triangle and the 8 Dynamics. Scientology teaches that you "manage" a person by sorting him or her into a chart.
Step6
Know that to become a Scientologist, you must learn about your past lives and you must be audited (counseled) to get rid of past bad experiences.
Step7
Be prepared for a military type of atmosphere in the training classes if you want to become a Scientologist.
