TaeBo is a type of martial art cardiovascular exercise that has been popularized by Billy Blanks. TaeBo also teaches self-awareness and an overall body workout. It was invented by Billy Blanks when he created a workout for himself to stay in shape. Becoming a TaeBo instructor is difficult, but there is demand for certified instructors at fitness centers around the world.

Instructions

Difficulty: Challenging

Step1
Become certified in CPR. This is required prior to enrolling in the TaeBo boot camp, which is the only place to officially be certified as a TaeBo instructor. Gyms and fitness centers require CPR certification to instruct classes also.
Step2
Obtain at least two references. TaeBo prefers that these references be from health center or fitness center professionals.
Step3
Sign up and pay for the TaeBo boot camp and instructor testing. Keep in mind that travel expenses and room expenses will also need to be put aside, unless the camp is offered nearby.
Step4
Ensure regular aerobic fitness has taken place for a minimum of nine months prior to the camp. The camp is 70 percent aerobic activity, which is why it is required that the level of physical fitness for prospective instructors and camp attendees is high. TaeBo experience is definitely recommended.
Step5
Read over the manual TaeBo sends. This includes necessary information to successfully complete camp and the instructor certification.
Step6
Write a statement consisting of why you want to become a certified TaeBo instructor. This must be presented to take the certification exam.
