Become certified in CPR. This is required prior to enrolling in the TaeBo boot camp, which is the only place to officially be certified as a TaeBo instructor. Gyms and fitness centers require CPR certification to instruct classes also.

  2. Step 2

Obtain at least two references. TaeBo prefers that these references be from health center or fitness center professionals.

  3. Step 3

Sign up and pay for the TaeBo boot camp and instructor testing. Keep in mind that travel expenses and room expenses will also need to be put aside, unless the camp is offered nearby.

The camp is 70 percent aerobic activity, which is why it is required that the level of physical fitness for prospective instructors and camp attendees is high. TaeBo experience is definitely recommended.

  5. Step 5

Read over the manual TaeBo sends. This includes necessary information to successfully complete camp and the instructor certification.
