How to Marinate Pork

There is nothing better than a juicy pork tenderloin right out of the oven. But there is also nothing worse than a pork tenderloin that is dry as a bone. Things You'll Need

  • 5 lbs. pork tenderloin
  • 4 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp. hoisin sauce
  • 4 tbsp. dry sherry
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 3 tsp. honey
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

      Combine the ingredients in a medium sized bowl and stir them until they are well mixed.

      Place the pork in a roasting pan and pour the marinade liberally over the top.

      Refrigerate the pork tenderloin for 8 hours so that the marinade will be absorbed by the meat.

      Baste the pork tenderloin at least once while cooking. This will keep the meat moist and lessen the chance of over-cooking.
