How to Work With an Aquarius

If you've got an Aquarius in the office, you're probably used to some unconventional strategies and discussions. Progressive and outspoken, Aquarius is always open to new ideas and approaches. The following are some helpful steps to develop a positive relationship with your Aquarius coworker.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Get used to a fast-paced work environment. Aquarians don't like to be bored and they'll do everything in their power to keep things interesting.

  2. Step 2

Forget about traditional business stereotypes. If there is one thing you can count on, it's that Aquarius will rebel against the rules. If you try to enforce a professional dress code, an Aquarius will come to work in jeans and sneakers. When they're in charge of a meeting, don't expect a typical agenda. Instead, be ready for something out of the norm.

  3. Step 3

Capitalize on your Aquarius coworker's thirst for knowledge. They love to learn and think about new ideas and methods. If you're having a tough time with a project, ask Aquarius for help. They'll learn all they can about the situation and look at it from every angle before coming up with some new suggestions.

  4. Step 4

Enjoy the Aquarian sense of equality. They'll treat everyone the same, whether it's the president of the company or the temp who works part-time in the mailroom. Their lack of bias is refreshing in the workplace.

  5. Step 5

Be prepared for impersonal behavior. Although well-liked and sociable, your Aquarius coworker may often seem aloof and detached. Aquarians are incredibly concerned with humanitarian issues; however, they often fail to direct that concern at an individual.
