A logo is an important part of any business: that's why corporations spend big money on them. A good logo catapults your product or business identity into the consumer's mind.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

Think about the specific idea you want to project with your logo. What industry/industries are you representing? What is your target audience? Try to make your logo relevant to the sector that you are in.

  2. Step 2

Think about a color scheme. What will your logo be printed on? Use company colors strategically to compliment and enhance your graphic logo.

  3. Step 3

Think about levels of complexity. In most cases, you'll want to keep it simple. Think about printing needs, the space your logo will use up, and other possible limiting factors.

  4. Step 4

Assess legibility. You want your logo text to be legible. An overly complex or unreadable logo doesn't work well. Consider whether you can use acronyms or other means to simplify your logo presentation.

  5. Step 5

Look at other logo examples. It doesn't hurt to explore what others have already done, for a variety of reasons. You want your logo to be original, but if other logos already exists for your company or affiliates, you can use that style to tie into yours. Other corporate logos can also provide inspiration.

Feedback helps to establish that you're going in the right direction with your work. On the other hand, it could bog down the project. Assess the need for meetings on a case by case basis.
