Step 1
Consider the number of children in your jogger stroller. Joggers come in a variety of single, double or even triple passenger seating. If you're planning on having children closer together in age, it may be worth the investment to purchase a double.
-
Step 2
Ponder the pavement (gravel or trail). Look at the type and size of wheel on the stroller. Select the wheel type by whether you're a serious runner on flat surfaces like pavement, an out-and-about townie or an outdoorsy mom running the trail with her jogger.
-
Step 3
Mull over how you want to maneuver. Choose to swivel or not; many joggers come with a front wheel that is either fixed or on a swivel.
-
Step 4
Comb through the extra features: shocks, adjustable handlebars, safety wrist wrap or convertible seating (single to double, for instance). Include any feature that will make your exercise stroll comfortable.
-
Step 5
Poll other parents. Before you buy, ask around—do other moms or dads recommend certain brands or types. Locate a specific store or online merchant with a favorable referral from a friend.
