Authorize an allotment once you get the loan so that Army Emergency Relief can take it directly out of your military pay. They usually give you very good terms for paying them back.

    Tips & Warnings

    • Don't be intimidated by all the paperwork. They will tell you step by step what must be done. Just follow their directions and you will complete all the required documentation.

    • Don't rely on Army Emergency Relief every time you need money. Once they see that you are a repeat customer, you must come up with a very good reason for a loan. They don't want you to make a habit of relying on them.
