Today, encore weddings have become so standard, that former etiquette unique to these events have fallen by the wayside. Second and additional marriages have become the norm, and couples celebrate much like those enjoying a first marriage do. Share in the excitement of an encore wedding by sending an ecard. Read on to learn how to send an encore wedding ecard.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Send an encore wedding ecard if you are not able to attend the ceremony, the couple is having a small civil ceremony or destination wedding, or if you do not know the bride or groom's mailing address.

  2. Step 2

Know the date of the event. An ecard is an informal greeting and because the couple may not check e-mail close to the event, send your ecard within the week prior to the big day.

  3. Step 3

Search ecard venues for wedding themed cards. Choose a card that fits the occasion and the couple's personality.

  4. Step 4

Make an informal, impersonal ecard more meaningful by including thoughtful words and personal well wishes to the newlyweds.

  5. Step 5

Preview your card, including your personalized message and send to the happy couple.

Tips & Warnings
  • Some ecard sites allow you to create the card and designate a mailing date for later. This is a great feature, allowing you to present the card in a timely fashion.
