How to Add a Link to MySpace

A myspace account
A computer

Step 1

The first step to creating a text link on your myspace page is to simply log into your myspace account and click on 'Edit Profile'. This will bring you to the page that allows you to make changes to your myspace page.
Step 2

Next you will need to decide where you want the text link. For example, I would like a link to the Milwaukee Bucks website in my 'Interests' box. Continue along with me to see how this is done.
Step 3

Once you have decided where you'd like your link you need to actually copy and paste the generic text link code in that spot. The funny thing is that the code cannot be displayed on this site because it is an actual code and eHow.com cannot recognize it and have it display properly. However, the code can be found on the following site:
http://www.freecodesource.com/index.php?page=myspacecodes/links
Step 4

Now it is time to start editing the code so it links to the website you'd like it to. Simply go to the code and replace the text URL_OF_SITE_HERE with the actually URL you want the text to link to. For example, I would type in http://www.bucks.com
Step 5

The final step is to decide what you want the text link to say. With the generic code it will just read as 'Displayed Text'. Figure out what you want it to say and replace 'Displayed Text' in the generic code with what you want. For example, I would replace 'Displayed Text' with 'Milwaukee Bucks.'

Enjoy your new link on your myspace page!
