How to make a shortwave antenna

This antenna can use for very good shortwave receiption. Use during travel, at home or anytime.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • A shortwave radio.
  • 10 or 15 feet plastic coated thin wire.

Step1
Remove 3 or 4 inch plastic coating from any end of the wire.
Step2
Attach the wire at your radio antenna
Step3
Pass rest of the wire outside throw the window.
Step4
Listen your radio.

Tips & Warnings

  • Wire should be straight and without knot.
  • Try to hang the wire as high as possible.
  • Change wire position to get better reception.
  • Too many length of wire can provide noise.
  • Never i say NEVER pass the antenna wire over or near any kind of electrical wire or connection.
  • It can be DEADLY.
  • During thunder storm don't use this antenna.
