Graduation ceremonies are celebrations of a loved one's achievement. They can be full of family, friends, and fears about what to wear. The way a woman should dress when attending a seminary graduation ceremony varies from school to school, but there are simple rules that apply for everyone.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Keep it neat. Whether you decide to wear a dress or skirt to the ceremony, make sure that you look tidy. Don't wear any jeans or jean skirts that are pre-ripped or have holes from excessive wear, or any other ripped or torn clothing. Iron wrinkled items before hand. Wait to dress until the last minute to avoid stains.

  2. Step 2

Stay long in the skirts. To dress when attending a seminary graduation ceremony think about long skirts and dresses. This doesn't mean that you have to wear skirts that flow to the floor, but keep them respectively below the knee.

  3. Step 3

Think basic colors. Deciding on an outfit can be made easier by staying with the classic colors. Choose black pants, khakis, or brown and black skirts. By avoiding loud patterns and decoration you can have a clean elegant look without feeling out of place.

  4. Step 4

Pare down the accessories. To keep a modest dress when attending a seminary graduation ceremony, keep the earrings and accessories to a minimum. Modesty is the key when attending a conservative school function.

  5. Step 5

Dress modestly when attending a seminary graduation. All attire should reflect a conservative attitude.
