How to Upload Graphics to an MSN Message Board

All MSN groups include a photo album. The photo album can be used to store the graphics and photos that you put on your HTML pages and message boards. Keeping photos here will make retrieving photos a snap to find and use. Follow these steps to upload your graphics an MSN message board

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Go to your MSN message board and login to your MSN passport.

  2. Step 2

    Click "Pictures" found at the bottom of the left navigation bar.

  3. Step 3

    Click "Add Photos." You will be redirected to the photo album.

  4. Step 4

    Install the "Photo Upload Control" if prompted.

  5. Step 5

    Select the photos on your computer you that you wish to upload.

  6. Step 6

    Click "Upload Now." Upload times will vary based on file size and your connection speed.

  7. Step 7

    Return to the photo album via the navigation tool bar to view your photos or add titles and descriptions to your images.

Tips & Warnings
  • Protect your graphics by restricting your member's rights within the photos albums. Click on "Pictures" then adjust your member's rights under the "Permissions" link.
  • Only photos uploaded to your group's photo album can be added to Custom HTML pages.
  • You can use your photo album as an image server. Upload the images. View them in photo album mode. Right-click on the image, under "Properties" you will find the URL assigned to this photo. You can then use that URL for reposting the image on other sites such as EZBoard or MySpace.
