Prom queen--one of the most coveted titles in the high school social hierarchy--is the person every girl wishes she could be. Stop wishing and follow these steps to start making prom history.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Find out the process of nomination and election of prom queen in your school. Some schools hold raffles, while others appoint the prom queen based on student council recommendation. Class nominations are the typical standard.

  2. Step 2

Get someone to nominate you for prom queen. Some schools require multiple nominations to be considered, so ask all your friends or a whole class to nominate you if necessary.

  3. Step 3

Network yourself to as many people as possible. Prom queen is about winning the affection of your classmates. Many times the prom queen is a senior girl everyone knows or respects and elects to preside over the prom ceremonies.

  4. Step 4

Stay humble throughout the process. Find a way to make yourself seen doing nice, helpful things so that you don't seem like you're clawing for attention. You want to be the girl everyone loves, who is effortlessly beautiful, charming and humble.

  5. Step 5

Make amends with anyone whom you may have wronged. Prom queens don't get where they are by being catty, so make sure that you settle your disputes before the night of the prom to ensure you are in good favor with your classmates.

  6. Step 6

Go to the prom and claim your prom queen title.
