A snow cow is a variation of a snowman. The cow is made the same way as a beginner learns to draw. You start out with a basic shape and then mold the snow to look like a cow. It is easy and fun, but takes time and muscles. The following steps will help you have fun making a snow cow.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Roll three large snowballs the size of exercise balls. Call these balls snowball 1, snowball 2, and snowball 3. Place all three balls next to each other. This will form the body of the snow cow.
Step2
Pack snow between snowballs 1, 2 and 3 to form a barrel shape for the body.
Step3
Roll snowball number 4 and place it on top of snowball 1 or 3. This will form the neck of the snow cow. Pack extra snow into the crevices to eliminate the ball shape of ball number 4.
Step4
Roll a smaller ball number 5 and place the snowball on top of ball number 4. This ball should be offset to form the head of your cow. Add snow to the front of the head to make an oval shape for the mouth and jaw area.
Step5
Form ears, eyes, bull horns, and a tail. The ears can be formed by making a fist sized oval snowball. The eyes are made by setting rocks in place. The bull horns and tail are made with sticks. Shred the second stick for the tail to look like hair. Have fun riding your snow cow.

Tips & Warnings

  • Roll balls 1,2, and 3 larger for bigger kids and smaller for smaller kids so a kid can jump on it.
