How to Make an Almond Hershey Bar Pie

This rich chocolate pie is made with almond Hershey chocolate bars and can be topped with whipped cream, chocolate shavings and slivered almonds for decoration. This recipe makes 6 to 8 slices of pie. Try serving the almond Hershey pie with vanilla ice cream. Read on to learn more.

Things You'll Need:

  • 6 regular almond Hershey chocolate bars
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 20 regular-sized marshmallows
  • Sauce pan
  • 1 1/2 pint whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 pre-cooked graham cracker pie crust
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 small package almond Hershey miniatures
  • 3 3/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2/3 cup cocoa
  • Blender
  • Whisk
  • Bowl
  1. Step 1

    Melt the chocolate bars, 1/2 cup milk and marshmallows in a medium-sized sauce pan over low heat, stirring constantly until all the ingredients are melted.

    Allow the mixture to cool for 2 minutes. Fold in the whipping cream and coconut.

  3. Step 3

    Pour the chocolate mixture into the pre-cooked graham cracker pie crust. Refrigerate until the pie is firm.

    Soften the butter in the microwave for 10 seconds.

  5. Step 5

    Mix the butter, vanilla and 1/4 cup of milk.

  6. Step 6

    Crush the miniature almond bars in a blender for 30 seconds or until chopped into small pieces.

    Whisk the sugar and cocoa until blended.

  8. Step 8

    Combine the crushed almond bars, sugar, cocoa and butter mixture. Stir up the ingredients until smooth and creamy. If the mix is thick, add 1/4 cup of milk and stir.

  9. Step 9

    Remove the pie from refrigerator and spread the cocoa mixture into the crust.

  10. Step 10

    Chill in the refrigerator until time to serve.
