  • 5 large eggs
  • Water
  • Bowl
  • 2 medium onions
  • 4 stalks celery
  • Skillet
  • 1 lb. pork sausage
  • 3 slices white bread
  • 5 cups corn bread crumbs
  • 2 tsp. sage
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. basil
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • Cooking spray
  • 13-by-9-by-2-inch pan

Instructions

      Boil 3 eggs in a saucepan over high heat for 7 to 10 minutes.

      Crack and peel and the egg. Wrap a wash cloth around each egg and apply pressure. Push up to loosen the shell from the egg. Remove the shell.

      Cut the eggs into small pieces. Place them in a bowl and place it to the side.

      Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

      Dice the onion and celery stalks into small pieces.

      Brown the sausage in a skillet. Stir the sausage while it cooks. Add vegetables to the sausage and cook until tender.

      Toast bread until lightly brown and then tear into small squares.

      Drain grease from the sausage and vegetables. Add the sausage mix and other ingredients to the eggs. Continue stirring the pork sausage dressing until it is soft.

      Grease the 13-by-9-by-2 inch baking pan. Pour the dressing in to the pan.

      Place the dressing, uncovered in the oven and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
