How to Throw an Alcohol Free Party
Every host or hostess wants to throw the perfect party, and to many people this means having an array of alcoholic beverages for their guests to enjoy. But for others, age restrictions, health concerns, morals or other constraints mean that serving alcohol is not on the menu. If you want to throw a fabulous party, alcohol-free, just follow these suggestions:

Instructions

1
Choose a theme for your party and go all out with corresponding decorations and music to really set the mood.
-
2
Hire a local band, depending on how big your budget is. Guests will be enjoying the music instead of looking for the bar.
-
3
Fill up the evening with activities related to your theme. Whether it's a pool party, a Super Bowl party, a Hawaiian luau or a tribute to the 80s, make sure that you give your guests plenty of games and activities to keep them entertained.
-
4
Provide plenty of great foods and beverages so that guests won't miss the fact that they're not drinking alcohol. Mix exotic colors and textures for a flavorful experience. And rather than simply setting out cans of soda, try offering flavored teas or mocktails (nonalcoholic cocktails).
-
5
Tell guests to arrive in a costume appropriate to your party theme, then have a contest to pick the best dressed and award that guest a prize. People generally enjoy dressing up, and your guests will have fun admiring each other's outfits and vying for the prize.
-
6
Get the guests involved with one another through a group activity. Karaoke, board games and interactive video games are all a great way to involve everyone at your party. Try to convince everyone to participate equally so that no one gets left out.
-
7
Give out door prizes and offer prizes to the winners of the various activities. Or ask periodic trivia questions related to your theme throughout the evening and have a small prize ready for the first person to guess correctly.

I recently had to throw one of these. I was suprised how much I based my planning around alcohol...in the food, the dessert and drinks. It is a great challenge to throw an adult party without any. -
