Step 1
Add foundation back into your makeup regimen. If you stopped using foundation during the summer, begin using a lightweight foundation and powder again.
-
Step 2
Use chocolate hues on the eye. Brows and lashes should utilize dark brown colors. Look for an eye shadow and eye liner in this shade.
-
Step 3
Tone down the blush. Steer away from the pink shades that you used during the summer months. Instead, put darker shades on your cheeks. You can also skip the blush altogether and use a bronzer instead.
-
Step 4
Put long lasting color on your lips. Find a lipstick in a darker autumn shade that will last you all day without fading. Mattes should replace the glosses used over the summer.
-
Step 5
Go neutral. You can never go wrong using neutral colors during the fall season. Beiges and nudes are always in style.
-
Step 6
Experiment with bold colors. If you would rather use bolder shades, sample the hues before you purchase. Lips are the best area to try out bold reds and purples.
