How to Pass the CBEST Test

Passing the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST) is one of the first steps to becoming a teacher in California. There are many resources available to help you get ready for the test. Preparation is the key to passing the test. Follow these steps to pass the CBEST test.

1. Go online to the CBEST website. It has all the details about practice tests, test dates, fees and locations.

2. Familiarize yourself with the format. You need to pass three parts: math, reading and writing.

4. Check out a CBEST preparation guide from the library. You can purchase one as well. There are several different guides, but any should be helpful.
