Tips & Warnings

  • Take a practice test Online. This will help you become familiar with what is on the test as well as, time limits and number of questions in each sub-test.
  • Answer the easy questions first. This will give you more time for answering difficult questions and help to ensure that you answer every single question.
  • Answer all the questions. Wrong answers do not count against you. Even if you don't know the answer, make an educated guess.
  • There is a 30-day waiting period if you have to retake the test. Be sure that you thoroughly prepare the first time around so you don't have to wait to retake your ASVAB.
