How to Be a Star Wars Fan

If you think that being a die hard Star Wars fan is easy, think again. You have to devote hours and hours to watching the movies and memorizing every detail. A few years ago it was a lot easier; there were only 3 movies. Now there are 6. So you're going to have to clear your schedule to make time to absorb all of the necessary knowledge to become a true Star Wars fan. Read on to learn more.

Things You’ll Need:

• All six Star Wars movies (9, if you add the digitally remastered versions of the first 3).

1. Decide what kind of Star Wars fan you want to be. Do you want to be a casual fan who can namedrop Darth Vader and Boba Fett in everyday conversation? Or do you want to truly devote yourself? If it's the latter, keep reading.
2. Watch all of the movies. There are actually 9 movies to watch, if you count the digitally remastered versions of the first 3 that George Lucas released in the late nineties. Watch any related documentaries or interviews that you can get your hands on as well.
3. Play the movies again and again and again. In order to be a true fan, you must eat, sleep and breathe Star Wars. Knowing every line and every shot of every movie will make it much easier.
4. Make some friends who are also Star Wars fans. Try looking on the Internet if you don't know any in real life.
5. Talk about Star Wars all the time. Find ways to bring it into conversations where it doesn't belong. Your boss may be wondering why you're talking like Yoda, but a mark of a true Star Wars fan is that they don't care what others think.
6. Construct a Star Wars costume. Princess Leia, C3P-O, Chewbacca, it doesn't matter. Just wear it with pride.
