How to Create Business Cards on a PC
On a tight budget? You can save a few bucks by creating your own business cards. They may not have the professional look of those designed and printed by professionals, but they serve the same purpose, ie: getting your name in front of as many potential clients as possible. Use a decent graphics creation/publishing program such as Corel. You can also use a program dedicated to the creation of business cards or greeting cards. You can also create cards by creating labels in Microsoft Word.

Make sure you list your name, address, telephone and fax numbers and other pertinent information as well as your business slogan or information about your business.

Avoid complicated graphics. You want something that will print clearly.

Use a scanner to scan in photos or artwork for your card. Clip art tends to look cheap and unprofessional.

Select one or two colors and print them on a white or off-white background. Simplicity is the key here.
