How to Make Vegan Fudge

It might be hard for non-vegans to believe that decadent fudge can be made from a vegan recipe, but one sample will convince them. With the right recipe, vegan fudge can be a real crowd pleaser, making it a great choice for both vegan and mixed-group gatherings. Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • Double boiler
  • 5-by-9-inch baking pan
  • 6 tbsp. non-dairy margarine
  • 3 1/2 cups confectioners (powdered) sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup soy milk
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • Saucepan
  • 3/4 cup non-dairy margarine substitute
  • 1 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup powdered (confectioner's) sugar

  1. Easy Vegan Chocolate Fudge

      Use a small amount of the margarine to oil a 5-by-9-inch pan.

      Place all of the remaining ingredients, except the nuts, into a double boiler.

      Stir the mixture often and allow it to melt until it becomes smooth.

      Add the nuts (optional).

      Pour the fudge mixture into the oiled pan.

      Chill the fudge thoroughly for several hours.

      Cut the cooled mixture into squares, and your fudge is ready to serve and enjoy.

    Vegan Peanut Butter Fudge

      Melt the non-dairy margarine substitute in a saucepan over low heat.

      Remove from the heat and add in the peanut butter. Stir until the mixture is smooth.

Tips & Warnings
