Things You'll Need:
- Saucepan
- 5-by-9-inch baking pan
- 3/4 cup non-dairy margarine substitute
- 1 cup smooth peanut butter
- 3/4 cup powdered (confectioner's) sugar

Step 1
Use a small amount of the margarine to oil a 5-by-9-inch pan.

Place all of the remaining ingredients, except the nuts, into a double boiler.

Stir the mixture often and allow it to melt until it becomes smooth.

Add the nuts (optional).

Pour the fudge mixture into the oiled pan.

Chill the fudge thoroughly for several hours.

Cut the cooled mixture into squares, and your fudge is ready to serve and enjoy.

Melt the non-dairy margarine substitute in a saucepan over low heat.

Remove from the heat and add in the peanut butter. Stir until the mixture is smooth.

Stir in the confectioner's sugar slowly. Mix well.

Spread the mixture into the oiled pan.

Chill the fudge thoroughly for several hours.

Cut the chilled fudge into squares and serve.
