We live in a constantly evolving world. New dangers and temptations await our children at every turn. Keep reading to learn steps you can take to raise a child that shares your views of politics and society.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Teach children that respect for other living beings is a good thing and not something to be ashamed of or timid about. Set an example by joining organizations that give to those in need.

  2. Step 2

Educate them of the fact that common courtesy and manners are not the same as political correctness. You should also let them know that being politically correct is not a bad thing.

  3. Step 3

Instill in your children the liberal values that you hold dear. Teach them that those values are not limited to politics, but apply to almost every aspect of becoming the good people you are raising them to be. Teach them that patriotism exists on both sides of the party lines. And show them how to be compassionate even while engaged in a hot debate.

  4. Step 4

Help them understand the importance of the United States Constitution as the basis for our society and system of government. Let your children know the premise that all men and women are equal forms the basic foundation of our society.

  5. Step 5

Join community organizations and religious groups that share your liberal views. Have your children join and attend with you in order to associate with others holding similar political and world views. You should also take this opportunity to learn from other parents that are also raising liberal children. Understand that it does indeed sometimes take a village to raise a child.
