If you are sick and tired of all the questionable morals and society's value system in today's age, you need to ensure that you raise a conservative child. Raising a conservative child is not so difficult--here are a few steps to get you in the right direction.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Get yourself into a good Bible-belting church. If you raise your child as a Christian, chances are he will grow up a conservative.

  2. Step 2

Make sure you keep an open mind. Liberals main attack is their perception that conservatives are uptight, close-minded prudes. Do not prove them correct. Show your child that conservatives are not who the liberals make them out to be.

  3. Step 3

Show your child the results of having too large a government and how damaging it is to the economy. Present information from past liberal administrations and show the effects of that large bureaucracy today.

  4. Step 4

Make sure your child understands that "wants" are truly not "needs" and just because she thinks she wants something does not mean that she needs to have it. Help your child understand that nothing is free and that you have to work hard to get what you need and not expect handouts from anyone. At the same time, make sure that she knows how to help people help themselves.

  5. Step 5

Explain to your child that being a conservative means that you want less government interference in your lives. You want a smaller government. You want less taxes and more opportunities for entrepreneurship in this country.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure that your child feels loved no matter if he shares your same beliefs or not.
  • Children have a natural inclination to rebel. Don't worry too much if he tries to wear the liberal jacket for a while just to get your goat. He will come back around and see the light in his own time.
