How to Become an Anarchist
Anarchists played important roles in the tumultuous politics of 19th- and 20th-century Europe, but today, aside from the actions of individuals like the Unabomber, they do little more than swap theory with each other and blog on the Internet. If you want to join the ranks of notable anarchists such as Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn and Alan Moore, follow these steps.

1
Understand that by definition anarchy abhors rules, so it will be difficult for an individual to take leadership to begin an anarchist movement. You must take special care so as not to offend your fellow anarchists on the one hand, but on the other, any form of social movement must be started by someone with the ability to direct it.
-
2
Join an existing anarchy community on the Internet. Websites like AnarchismToday.org and Anarchism.net provide message boards where anarchists can debate current issues.
-
-
3
Donate or volunteer to help the Institute for Anarchist Studies. This is primarily a grant-giving organization for writers.
-
4
Write a newsletter or design your own anarchist's website discussing your views of anarchy's past, present and future. Apply for a grant to help you get started, and try to reach a wide audience. The point is not to simply debate among those who already consider themselves anarchists, but to convert those who don't.

5
Register to vote or run for local office as an anarchist. A campaign, even a small one, will help to spread the word that anarchy is not a theory that encourages violence and chaos as it is often misunderstood to be.

Doesn't make scene does it now? ''Rule 5: Register to vote or run for local office as an anarchist. A campaign, even a small one, will help to spread the word that anarchy is not a theory that encourages violence and chaos as it is often misunderstood to be.'' Now, Anarchist is a person who rebels against any authority, established order, or ruling power?
