Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate
Step1
Check the side effects of medicine online. It's easy and fast to find that information online and you don't need to be computer savvy to do so. Go to the Drugs.com website and along the top navigational panel, click on the first letter of the medication. After you click on the first letter, you'll see a listing of all medications that begin with that letter. Find the name of your medicine and click on it. On the resulting page, you'll get a lot of information on the medication, including its possible side effects.
Step2
Ask your doctor about side effects when he/she prescribes the medicine. Your doctor should have the latest information regarding the medication you are being prescribed.
Step3
Discuss side effects with your pharmacist. Your local pharmacist can tell you the side effects on any medication that your receive. Most pharmacists are happy to help and can give you detailed information.
