Everyone loves a Super Bowl party, even the people that don't like football. Make sure the drinks you offer at your Super Bowl party match the Super Bowl atmosphere of fun and sport.

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Get a head count. Before you head off to your local party store, know how many people are coming and how much you need to buy. The average person has three drinks per party. Buy extra to ensure there's enough beverages for all guests.

  2. Step 2

Buy beer, wine coolers and non-alcoholic beverages. If you just have to choose one drink, beer should be your choice. After all, what's a Super Bowl Party without beer?

  3. Step 3

Choose one clear and one dark liquor. Depending on your guests' tastes, buy one 750ml bottle (commonly known as "a fifth") of rum or vodka. Select a fifth of spiced rum or whiskey.

  4. Step 4

Buy easy mixers for liquor. Keep it simple here. Regular and diet cola will compliment rum, spiced rum and whiskey. Tonic water, soda or juice (cranberry or orange) will go well with vodka.

  5. Step 5

Get a few non-alcoholic drinks. Soda, juice, lemonade or iced tea will be fine. Usually regular and diet soda is plenty. Consider making a non-alcoholic punch.

Tips & Warnings
  • Buy a couple of bags of ice. Buy enough for the mixed drinks and a cooler if you using one to keep the beer cold.
  • If you live in a cold climate, throw the beer and soda outside to stay cold when you run out of room in the refrigerator.
  • Consider purchasing a keg or half-keg when buying beer if you are expecting a large crowd.
  • Don't drink too much. It is your Super Bowl party, so keep drinking to a minimum so you can keep an eye on your guests.
  • Help out the person that drinks too much. Discreetly pull him aside and offer him a non-alcoholic beverage, like coffee.
  • Do not, under any circumstances let one of your guests drink and drive.
