With its simple points system and large support network, the Weight Watchers diet plan is a great choice for losing weight. As with any diet though, staying on track is the hard part. Follow these steps to stick to your Weight Watchers diet plan.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

Stay full. Eat foods that are filling rather than wasting your points on items such as soda, juice and dressings. Rice cakes and other high-protein snacks as well as zero-point vegetables are a great way to keep full throughout the day. Drink plenty of water as well.

  2. Step 2

Eat a variety of foods. Experiment with different recipes and share with friends or look online for new ones. Changing up your food routine keeps meals exciting and helps you stay on track.

  3. Step 3

Exercise regularly. Even walking and other low-impact workouts keep your energy level high and help you stay motivated to eat healthy and stick to the plan. Plus, you gain extra points for workouts to add to your daily total.

  4. Step 4

Set reasonable, short-term goals and track your progress regularly. Actually seeing the results of your work helps you stick to the diet. Long-term goals are difficult to assess and can seem impossible at times. Set bi-weekly or monthly goals.

  5. Step 5

Attend meetings online or in person or create your own support network with family and friends. It's helpful to have someone to go to when you feel tired, hungry or are having trouble with the program. Sharing your own experiences and learning from others gives you tools to help keep you in line.
