    Visit a Plasma Donation Center

  1. Step 1

    Search the phonebook or perform an Internet search to find plasma donation centers near you.

  2. Step 2

    Visit the plasma donation center of your choice. This is the best way to actually see a procedure and understand plasmapheresis.

  3. Step 3

    Ask the staff to explain the process and the requirements to become a plasma donor.

  4. Step 4

    Request additional reading material to cover any questions you might not have asked.

    Begin by visiting the Healthatoz website (see Resources below). Type the word "Plasmapheresis" in the search box and press the "Search" button.

    Scroll down the options and select the "Plasmapheresis" link.
